Peggy June Forbes, 84, passed away January 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, Alva and Edith Boggess; husband, Robert Forbes; siblings, James "Sonny" Boggess, Buddy Boggess, Geneva Rowan, Vera Ward, and Jerry Boggess. June is survived by sons, Johnny (Theresa) and Gary (Becky) Forbes; grandchildren, Johnny D. Forbes II, April (Ryan) Retherford, Eric Forbes, and Ashley (Dirk) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Noah, Donovan, Brayden, Ryan II, Paisley, Reed, Knox, and Johnny; great-great-granddaughters, Lita and Amelia; sisters, Alma Smith and Cleta Jones; dear friends, Glenn and Joyce Walker.
June enjoyed sewing and watching Buckeye and Sooners football and basketball games. She loved to cook for family gatherings to bring everyone together.
Visitation Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4-7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 10:30am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, OH.
