Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Sam Jones (Urai), Linda J. Liertz (Robert), Peter Jones (Marie), Jayson Jones (Karen); 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Durham County ASPCA: 2117 E. Club Blvd., Durham, NC 27704; or to an animal rescue charity of your choice.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences can be made at www.clementsfuneralservice.com.
