In Loving Memory: Cherished Mother and Beloved Daughter
Peggy Mark, 59, of Jay, OK, and formerly of Neosho, MO, passed away on August 23, 2023, due to complications from diabetes. Born in Carthage, MO, to Joyce Hawthorne and Harvey Brower, she leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that continues to inspire.
Peggy's journey included a connection to community and friends, educational pursuits, and working endeavors in the fields of customer service and sales-all marked by her incredible warmth, kindness, and empathy. As a mother of four, her loving spirit shone brightest. She is survived by her daughters, Megan Daniels and Heather Barker, and she is rejoined with her sons, Dustin Allen Daniels and Dylan Lee Mark, in heaven.
While Peggy's earthly journey may have concluded, the lasting marks she left behind paint a portrait of devotion. Preceding her in the journey beyond were her brother, Michael Brower, her grandfather, Troy Peacher, her grandmother, Claudine Peacher, and her two sons. A symphony of memories and enduring love persists in the hearts of her surviving parents, Joyce Hawthorne and Harvey Brower, her two daughters, and a host of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Peggy, a Celebration of Life Service will be held in November (Facebook invite to be shared at a later date), an occasion for those who knew her to share stories and reminisce on the many shades of her life.
Peggy's dual role as a devoted mother and cherished daughter remains etched in our hearts, a testament to her enduring love and the bonds she cultivated. In remembrance, we share one of her many favorite songs:
