Paul Butterworth, 79, of Pineville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025.
Born on July 31, 1945, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Paul was the son of James and Gladys (Shetler) Butterworth. He spent many dedicated years working for the Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.
Paul found great joy in the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or tending to the land, he loved the simple, meaningful pleasures of nature and farm life. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always full for those he cared about.
He is survived by his four children: Paul Edward Butterworth, Jr. (Angel) of Brownengton, Missouri; David Alan Butterworth of Aurora, Missouri; Charles Thomas Butterworth of Osceola, Missouri, and Deena McLallen (Monty) of Pineville, Missouri, and brother Jim Butterworth of El Paso, Texas and sister Helen Kimball of Pennsylvania. Paul was a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, whose memories he held close throughout his life.
Paul's legacy of hard work, love for the outdoors, and devotion to family lives on in those who knew and loved him.
