Peggy Jean Nantz, 79, of Berlin Township, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.
She was born October 7, 1946, in Dickson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Guy and Bertha Manley.
Her marriage to Roger Nantz was April 20, 1965, in Mount Clemens. They spent 42 loving years together before Roger's passing on June 26, 2007.
Peggy was a member of Mt. Zion First Methodist Church, Capac. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, crocheting, and camping.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James (Karen) Nantz of Gaylord and Thomas (Deborah) of Carsonville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet (Nathan) Dietrich of Capac and Bonnie (Jon) Jaroszewski of Macomb; grandchildren, Mike (Heather) Eitel, Pat (Amanda) and Zachary (Summer) Parsons, Celeste, Tommy (Sasha), Adam (Madisyn), and Samantha Nantz, Madelaine (Evan) Green, Kelsey, Lilah and Nathan Jr. Dietrich, and Aiden and Gavin Bousson; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Jewel (Dennis) Noble of Almont; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Annette) Manley of Savannah, GA; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son Roger (1986), grandson, Benjamin Nantz (1997) and a sister.
The family honors the memory of Peggy and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with 10:00 a.m. visiting at Capac Methodist Church, Mussey Twp. Rev. Lisa Clark, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Capac Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
