Peggy Jean Pequignot, 74, of Bellefontaine went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 20, 2023. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 9, 1949, to the late Charles “Pat” and Vivian (Sheeley) Earick.
On July 18, 1970, she married Raymond “Andy” Pequignot Jr, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2012. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Shane Jackson, and sister, Connie Wilcoxon.
Peggy leaves behind her daughters: Janet (Tony) Jackson of Bellefontaine and Cheryl (Tony Longbrake) Collinsworth of Florida; grandchildren: Scott Jackson, Brandt Jackson, and Kennedy Collinsworth; sisters: Jan Butler, Judy Doseck, and Patty Fanaff all of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.
A homemaker, Peggy always remained a faithful servant of the Lord. She found much joy in spending time with her family, playing cards, or watching golf. Also in her free time she enjoyed drawing, putting puzzles together, and shopping.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
