Peggy Milner Perrone, 88, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022.
She was born Sept. 1, 1934, in Camden, daughter of Thomas G. and Dessie Dale Garmany Milner.
Mrs. Perrone graduated from Clarendon High School in 1953. She worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal for many years and served as the President of the local chapter of The American Federation of Government Employees.
She married Anthony Perrone in 1983 and soon moved to Hearne Texas where they enjoyed life raising cattle and farming cotton. She worked as a secretary for Texas A&M University for 10 years.
Peggy was a lifelong Methodist and attended White Hall United Methodist Church in White Hall. She was a very talented seamstress as well as a certified Duncan Ceramics instructor. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls and doll clothes. Mrs Perrone was also an accomplished landscape painter.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Perrone; brothers, Graham Milner and Dwayne Milner; grandson, Christopher Holubec.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Smith and her husband, Maurice of Benton; son, David Beck and wife Beverly of White Hall; sister, Patsy Reed and her husband Bill of San Angelo, Texas; four granddaughters, Michelle Beck, Katie Beck, Victoria Gomez and her husband Brandon, Jenny Beck; and great-granddaughter, Journey Rose Beck.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, from 5:30-7 p.m., at White Hall United Methodist Church by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. The family will have a private graveside service in Camden at a later date.
