Peggy Marie Pickard, 76 of Shepherdsville passed away at her home Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Peggy was a Baptist by faith, she retired from General Shale. Peggy enjoyed traveling, setting sail on cruise ships, and time spent on the water. She loved spending time at the family lake house on Rough River. She was a Bingo fanatic, she liked slot machines and casinos. Peggy was active in the Tops Club; she was awarded the title of Tops KY State Queen in 2024. She was proud of her success and thankful for the support and friendship acquired as a member. Peggy took Jim her canine sidekick everywhere that she went. Jim was always faithfully by her side. Peggy adored her family, her great-grandchildren Jaxson and Kennedy were the dearest to her, they built amazing bonds to last a lifetime. The time spent together will be cherished forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband Commodora Bengy “Ben” Pickard, Jr., along with her parents Dallas Lamb and Marjorie Poyner.
Peggy is survived by her son Phillip Lamb of Louisville; brother James Poyner and his wife Dana of Shepherdsville; granddaughters Brittany and Chelsey Lamb, along with her great-grandchildren Jaxson Lamb and Kennedy Richardson.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 3-8 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. til time of service.
