Peggy SNOWA Obituary

SNOWA, Peggy Finney, 65, of Mechanicsville and formerly of Highland Springs, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy R. Snowa Jr.; her parents, James and Marjorie Finney; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pete and Joyce Snowa. Peggy had a great love of children. She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Maresca and Sherri Israel (Keith Stewart); three siblings, Ann Baughn (Pete), Brenda Holloway (Jon) and Jerry Snowa (Glenda); six grandchildren, Anna Maresca (Lee Blackwell), Hunter Stewart (Brittany Sutherland), Nikki Israel, Kodie Stewart, Kaytlyn Stewart and Oscar Maresca; one great-grandchild, Kendra Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, adopted children and devoted pets. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 25. Interment will be held at Washington Memorial Park.

I am so sorry about Peggy. My family were neighbors of the Snowa's when they lived in Highland Springs. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
