Elon – Peggy Sue Huffines Page, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born in Alamance County to the late Ezra Alley and Mamie Susan Cook Huffines and was married for 60 years to the late Brannock Scott Page.

Peggy retired from Carolina Biological after 35 years. She was a longtime member of Lakeview Community Church. Peggy enjoyed music especially Rythm and Blues and Elvis Presley. She loved traveling to the mountains, word searches and crossword puzzles. She had a special place in her heart for cats and had a pet squirrel for seven years. Peggy was quite a dancer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her; son, Charles Allen Page and his wife, Kathy of Burlington and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Lakeview Community Church by Rev. Gerald Sanders and Rev. Tyler Thompson with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:45PM Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
