Peggy L. Tucker, born on December 20, 1937, in East St. Louis, Illinois, departed from this life on April 27, 2025, at her home in Keller, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of Leroy Everett Wall Sr. and Pearl Lucille Wall, Peggy's life was marked by her deep devotion to her family and her gentle spirit.
Peggy dedicated many wonderful years of her life to working as a cashier at Kroger in Keller, where she cherished the relationships she built with customers and colleagues alike. She had a warm and inviting personality that drew people to her, and she found great joy in baking, solving puzzles, and watching her favorite Hallmark movies.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Tucker; her parents, Leroy and Pearl; her twin brother, James; and her brother, Leroy Wall Jr.
She is survived by her children, Debra (James) Neky, Kenneth Joe (Robbie) Korte, Howard Korte, James Korte Jr., Pamela (Robert) Alcon, John Korte and, Lee (Catherine) Korte as well as numerous grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Jean Beckham and brother, Robert Wall, who will remember her with love and fondness.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel on May 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Peggy's life, sharing memories and stories that reflect the warmth and love she radiated throughout her time with us.
Peggy's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
