Tallahassee - Permon "Buck" Ardley, 83, died Monday, June 6, 2022.
He retired from Florida A&M University and Florida State University.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Carole Ardley-Williams (Roy), Karen Ardley-Austin (James) and Dr. Kim Ardley; special nephew/son, Leroy Ardley, Jr.; two sisters, Mable Ardley-Gardner (Felix) and Andrea Ardley; five grandchildren, Erica, Morgan and Ryan Williams, Whitney Austin-Webster (Brandon) and Haley Austin; one great granddaughter, Aniyah Thomas; one god daughter, April Knight-McCall; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside service will be 11 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Indian Branch Pallbearer's Lodge Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 AM to 6 PM Friday, June 17, 2022 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
