Mr. Perry Eugene Hendricks Jr., affectionately known as "Doodie," was born to the late Perry E. Hendricks Sr. and Debra M. Washington Hendricks in Texarkana, Texas on November 30th, 1982.

He graduated from Texas High School in 2001 and attended the University of Pine Bluff. There he met his wife, Maquita Donald Hendricks. To this union 2 children were born.

Perry was a cable tech with Sparklight Cable Co., a welder at JCM Industries, as well as, Smith Blair Co.

Perry passed away on October 5th, 2025 at his home in Texarkana.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife, Maquita Donald Hendricks of Texarkana, Tx, three sons; Jaylen E. Hendricks, Cameron Walker-Hendricks, Karter E. Hendricks, one daughter; Ajayah P. Hendricks, Mother, Debra Hendricks, Sisters; Shakaya P. Hendricks (Makensey) of Texarkana and Morgan Major of Charleston, S.C. Grandmother, Ms. Maxine Stewart of Texarkana, Tx., two nieces; LaMonica Stewart (Jared) and Miyanna Grady, one great uncle; Harrison Owens II (Jean), two uncles; Markaven Green and Tommy Forte, seven aunts: Virginia R. Rhone (Don), Dallas, TX, Sherry White, Clinton MD, Lois Washington Williams, Memphis, TN, Brenda L. Moore, Rialto, CA, Angela Washington Forte, Monetta Hendricks, both of Texarkana, TX

Best Friends/Brothers: Godfrey McKinney Jr. and Carlos Craig
