Pete Paul Butcher, 77, McArthur, Ohio, passed away Thursday April 10,2025,
at The Darst Group Home, Pomeroy, Ohio.
He was born June 3, 1947, at Pomeroy, the son of Charles L. and Alpha G. French Butcher.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam, Sgt. 1st. Infantry Div., a member of Carpenter Local #650,
and retired from Austin Powder.
Peete is survived by his wife of 54 years Bonnie LeMaster Butcher, children Debbie Frederick,
Paul "Buddy" Butcher, and Misty Butcher; grand-children Ashley Frederick (Robby Mayle),
Bert Frederick Jr. (Tiffany Frederick), Lexi Linton (Damian Long), Dakota Linton, Emma Butcher,
Anna Hougland, Ava Hougland, Paul David Butcher, Nicole Burris, Gracie Poling, and Lela Butcher;
Brothers Charles Morton, Rodney and Mindy, Ronald and Cheryl, Randy and Robin, and Robert and
Anita Butcher; 15 great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews, special nephew Hunter Butcher;
and his dog Bucky.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Sandy Butcher, brothers Rex Butcher,
and Harry Roger Butcher, nieces Marissa Grey, Bobbie Jo Butcher, and nephew Rodney "Scooter" Butcher,
Grandchildren Kimberly Frederick, Cloe Butcher, Charles Linton, and great-grandchild Nevaeh Mayle.
The visitation is Sunday 6-8 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home. Albany, Ohio.
Funeral Services will be on Monday at 11 A.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Pastor Brenda
Barnhart officiating. Burial will be in Westley Chapel Cemetery, McArthur, Ohio, with Military Graveside
Services by Albany V.F.W. Post# 9893, and K.T. Crossen Post #21 American Legion.
