Pete served in the United States Army and Navy Reserves. He loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.
Pete is survived by: daughters, Cathy (Tom) McBride of Grandview, MO, and Cheryl (Dan) Thompson of Towanda; siblings, Shelia Mattison and Dick Whitlock, both of Hutchinson, and Micki Clift of Missouri; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; and Joan Whitlock of Andover.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, three sisters; a daughter, Cynthia Whitlock Beshore; and a son, Chris Whitlock.
Cremation has taken place. Pete requested no service. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS is in charge of arrangements.
