Peter Baez of Greenville, SC, formerly of North Port, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born in Bay Shore, NY, on June 1, 1969. Pete retired after 32 years working for the City of North Port. He is the son of Lydia Rois of Greenville, SC. Pete is survived by three children, Taylee Baez, Alex Baez (Lexi) and their mother Lonna Bunkley, and Anthony Baez and his mother Delia Baez. He is also survived by his mother, Lydia Rios, a brother, Tomas Baez Jr (Tabatha), three nephews, Raymond Baez (Kirtley), Justin Baez (Megan) and Brandon Baez (Madison), six grandchildren, Nevaeh Baez, Jeremiah Baez, Anayah Baez (their mother Diamond), Anastasia Baez, Hayden Baez (Taylee) and one on the way (Lexi). Pete has two best friends, Roy Barrett and Richard Combs. Pete was a loving, gentle and selfless soul. He loved his family and wrestling .
