Peter Capriotti Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peter A. Capriotti, 84, of Rochester, NY. Peter passed away on February 28, 2025. He was the proud owner and operator of Peter Capriotti Trucking, a dedicated businessman, and a hardworking man who took pride in his work and his family.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Robbin (Brown) Capriotti, and his beloved dog, Mollie. He was a devoted father to Jodi Ross, Donna Capriotti, and Tracey (Vincent) Guarino, and a caring stepfather to Dennis (Danielle) Kuenzi and Amy (Louis) Battaglia. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Capriotti, and brother-in-law, Everett Lewis.
Peter was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who adored him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony "Snookie" Capriotti and Carmella (née DePrimo), his sisters, Doreen Lewis and Janice Carpenter, and his grandsons, James "Jimbo" Sorce and Michael Ross.
Peter will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the kindness he shared with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration to honor Peter’s life will be April 6, 2025 at the White House Lodge in Webster Park from 2-6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
