Peter Cirrincione

Peter Cirrincione, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a pillar of the community, passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 84. Born in Eastchester, NY on January 22, 1939, he was the loving son of Joseph and Yole Cirrincione. Peter is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Loretta Cirrincione (Cevetillo), who was the light of his life.
Peter was a selfless individual who approached life with a heart full of compassion and a willingness to help others. He possessed a quick wit and a sense of humor that could lighten even the heaviest of moments, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. A dedicated father, Peter leaves behind his daughters Denise Frank (Collin) and Deborah (Michael Binelli), who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He was also a proud grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Kara Buzzeo (Dennis Morgan), whose smiles lit up his world. Peter was predeceased by his siblings Felix, Norma (Gallo), William, Joseph, and Robert.
Peter's life was marked by a commitment to service. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. Following his military service, he continued to exemplify dedication by becoming a firefighter for the Hartsdale, NY Fire District, where he bravely served from 1967 to 1997.
Peter's involvement in the community extended beyond his firefighting duties. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2108 and actively participated in various veterans organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars Eastchester Post 2285, and the American Legion Post 979. He was also a devoted member of the Eastchester Italian-American Club and the New York State Police and Fire Retiree Association.
Peter's passions were many, but his family always came first. He cherished moments spent with loved ones, as well as often engaging in rounds of golf with his buddies and participating in various social activities within the community. His kindness, warmth, quick wit, and sense of humor were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Peter Cirrincione's legacy of service, love, laughter, and community involvement will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. He will forever be missed and forever in our hearts.
