Peter H. Constantine of Jupiter, FL sailed away June 23, 2023. Born Panagiotis Harry Constantinides on 08/31/1931 in Brooklyn, NY, to Greek immigrants, he served proudly for three years in the US Navy onboard the USS Midway during the Korean War.
Peter moved to the South Florida area in 1958 where he started several commercial air conditioning and refrigeration companies, including Dyna Cool and Mercury Cooling. He serviced Community Savings Bank in Palm Beach County for over 40 years. Peter also contracted briefly for NASA and Northern Telecom where he designed cooling systems for various technologies.
Peter was a protective man with a tough exterior yet caring and generous core. He was often in control, even during unexpected turns. Pete had a mischievous sense of humor along with a chortled laugh. He good-heartedly devoted his life to his family.
He is survived by three children and one son-in-law: Christina Zecca of Jupiter, FL; Michael Constantine and Artur Mulewski of West Palm Beach, FL and Marieka Constantine of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Peter is also survived by his brother Dean Constantine of Seattle, WA. He is endeared as Papou by his two grandchildren, Colton Zecca and Casey Zecca, primarily of Jupiter, FL.
Donations may be made in his honor to the USS Midway Museum at midway.org
Peter H. Constantine's final departure will be prepared by All County Funeral Home. His burial, for family only, is at 2 pm on Monday, July 10, 2023, with military honor guard, at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
