Madison – Peter Ewenko, age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 2, 2025, at the UW Hospital in Madison. He was born January 6, 1947, in Germany, to the late Makar and Tatianna (Shopka) Ewenko. Peter grew up in the Schofield area where he met his best friend for life in grade school: Jerry Shidell. He met his wife Terri Pazderski in 1998.
Peter owned and operated Audiophiles in Cross Plains for many years.
Peter is survived by his wife Terri Pazderski; sisters Eleanor Larsen and Anna (Bill) McMurtach, and a brother Joseph Such; stepchildren Natalie (Jayson) Fogle and Cheryl (Jeremy) Meinholz; grandchildren Aiden, Isabel and Sawyer Meinholz; and he is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday October 30, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
