Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Madison EastWilliam G. “Bill” Reeve, 78, of Madison passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at his home.
Bill was born on February 22, 1947 in Spring Green to Wilbur and Stella (Mueller) Reeve. He served as a Sea Bee in the United States Navy. Bill married on Sharon Koch on December 13, 1969 and celebrated 55 years together.
He was an avid collector of vinyl records and 45’s. Bill was also a classic car enthusiast and owned a 61’ Pontiac Bonneville.
William is survived by his wife, Sharon Reeve; son, William D. Reeve; granddaughters, Kayla Emkow of Pardeeville, Kaitlyn (Ryan) Reeve of Madison; five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Sawyer, Alexis, Jason, and Rita; sister-in-law, Marilyn Reeve; and many nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Stella Reeve; brothers, Wilbur Reeve, Donald Reeve, Harold Reeve; and sisters, Elaine Halverson, Alice Olson, and Nancy Asleson.
A memorial service will take place at 11AM on September 5, 2025 at Cress Funeral Service, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53704. A visitation will take place from 10AM until the time of service. A burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your Humane Society.
