They say there is a faith in loving fiercely. My husband Peter Morgan Frye left us on October 21st after 16 years of loving fiercely. Peter grew up in New Hampshire and lived with our family in Windham. He graduated from UNH in 1999 and SNHU in 2015 and loved every corner of our state. Our story started in 2009 over a piece of NH - I purchased a home from him at a moment of transition for both of us, but when he handed me the keys we decided to keep holding on. I could see how kind he was from the moment I met him, and we fell in love without any effort at all.

Peter leaves behind his mother Brenda, our 6 year old son Benton and too many wonderful friends, nieces/nephews and family members to list. It is a rare man that can marry into a family and friends group as big and wild as mine, but he did and he was one of us - he loved every gathering, he understood our humor and he was loved. We built a happy life together; we filled our home with friends, we took every trip, we filled every cup, we bought every house, he drove me all over creation and we loved nothing more than being together as a little family.

When Benton came into our lives, they forged a special bond and loved each other so much. I'll always remember him scooping up newborn Benton in the middle of the night so I could sleep, and how happy Benton was just to look into his eyes. Peter's way of showing fierce love was to take care of the people around him, and he did this so well. Although I write this with a broken heart, these memories were well lived and we were so grateful for our life together. Even though this isn't the way it was supposed to end, I wouldn't change a thing - not one moment.

We are holding a celebration of life at our house on Saturday October 25th at 2pm to remember Peter and to find comfort with each other. In lieu of flowers, please email your happiest memories of Peter to me so I can always share them with Benton. RSVP to Jillian at 603-361-8671 for email and address information.
