Peter N. Guillaume, age 72, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2025.

Peter was born on February 8, 1953, to Clement E. Guillaume and Eleanor (Callahan) Guillaume and was raised in Elk Point, South Dakota. He graduated from Elk Point High School in 1971, attended one year at the University of South Dakota in Springfield, then completed a degree in Office Mechanic Repair at Western Iowa Tech.

Peter married Patti (Rehling) Guillaume on October 27, 1973, and they made their home in Grinnell, Iowa, where they lived for 47 years. Technology was his passion, and most of his career was spent in marketing and sales.

Peter and Patti were blessed with one son, Adam R. Guillaume. Adam married Amanda (Hucal) Guillaume in May 2009, and they have three amazing children: twins Amelia and Austin (13), and Arie (10).

Pete had many interests. He loved reading, golfing, motorcycling, cars, traveling, and always cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He had a deep love for people and always graced his family and friends with his quick wit, sense of humor, and legendary pranks. He had an abundance of friends and acquaintances-the man knew no strangers.

Pete is survived by his wife, Patti; son, Adam; daughter-in-law, Amanda; grandchildren, Amelia, Austin, and Arie; his mother-in-law Eva Rehling; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Genece (Freeman) Quinn and Sara (Vern) Austin; brothers Gary Thomas Guillaume and Gregory Guillaume; father-in-law Robert G. Rehling; sister-in-law Karen Rehling; brothers-in-law Robert L. Rehling, Julian Moszkowicz, and Don Deeds; and niece Ann Marie Marsh.
