Peter John Husak

Peter "John" Husak, age 73, of Houston passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his residence. Peter was born July 5, 1950 in São Paulo, Brazil to parents, John Husak and Hanna Okauitna Husak. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 1972, also served in The Corp of Cadets. Peter was owner and operator of OSHA Outreach and Compliance Resources doing OSHA training classes as well as a Safety consultant for building construction. He was most proud of being involved in the building of the Texas A&M University Albritton Bell Tower.
Peter is survived by wife, Cathryn Grounds Husak of Houston; sons, Andrew Husak of Denver, Alexander Husak of Houston; sister, Lida O'Whittom of New Orleans, LA; aunts, Mary Becvar of Latexo, Betty Hines of Crockett; numerous cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Hanna Husak; brother, Johnny Husak; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Jean Grounds and Bill Feece, brother of the heart.
Funeral services for Peter "John" Husak will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Latexo Cemetery.
