Peter H. Kehew, CPA, age 83, died peacefully on January 8, 2024 at his home in Westbrook, Connecticut
Surrounded by his wife Barbara, whom he loved for 60 years; his son Christopher and his wife Amy; his son Jonathan and his wife Cheryl and grandchildren Marley, Elena and Jonah.
A graduate of Boston University, Pete served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, earned his CPA with Price Waterhouse in Boston and Italy, and was Treasurer of the U.S. Operations of Reed International LTD.
He was a long time resident of Hingham, Massachusetts, where he was active in the taking and management of the South Shore Country Club, served on the Town of Hingham Advisory Board, managed the John Barker Basketball League and coached Little League Baseball.
He loved his family, worked hard and tried to do good.
Funeral Services will be privately held by his family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the 20th Annual Gowrie Group Challenge in care of The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, P.O.
