Peter Thomas Kinch of Norwell passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Peter was raised and educated in Everett and attended Everett High School with the class of 1970. After graduating, he moved to Florida and spent some time on various adventures before moving back to Massachusetts. He lived in Whitman for many years where he and Sheila raised their family.
Peter had many different interests and hobbies. He absolutely loved collecting things and collected everything from coins to books, comics and sports cards. He also enjoyed listening to music with his notable favorites being Steppenwolf and Frank Sinatra.
Peter was the loving father of Eric Kinch, his wife Sarah of Hanson and Andrea Kinch of Pembroke. He was the grandfather of Evelyn and Nathaniel. Peter leaves behind his sisters Anna Marie and Karen and was predeceased by his siblings William, Maureen, Eileen, Charlie as well as his former wife Sheila.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Peter on Saturday June 21, 2025, from 10am – 1pm in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, Whitman. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peter’s memory to the American Liver Foundation.
