Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Thursday, November 17th at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, N.J. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial.
Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 20, 1954. He was the son of Marie (nee Keating) and George Leib. Peter was a longtime resident of New Providence before moving to Warren a few years ago. He was an Electrical Contractor and the owner/operator of Peter Leib Electric in New Providence. Peter was a talented musician and member/bass player of the band "Crisis." Peter also enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and Giants, spending time at Breezy Point with his family and golfing.
Peter is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Leib, his children: Kelly Fox (Todd), Shannon Salamone (Mark), Andrew Leib (Nicole) and Samantha Powers (John). He was the brother of Gerard Leib (Elizabeth) and grandfather of: Avery, Will, Finn, Nora, Libby, Vivienne, Zoey, James, Brody and Rowan. Peter was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Robert and Richard Leib.
In lieu of flowers donations in Peter's memory may be made to a charity near and dear to your heart.

Pete, I was thinking about you last week as I watched a video someone took of driving through Breezy. You must have been saying goodbye to me. RIP old friend.
