Thomas Allen Taylor

Thomas Allen Taylor, 85, of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 11, 1940, in Minnesota, Tom lived a life defined by his Christian faith, hard work, and devotion to those he loved. A man of God, Tom was deeply committed to his beliefs and lived by his faith each and every day.
A lifelong mechanic, Tom owned and operated his own gas station for many years before continuing his career as a Quality Assurance Manager at Manhattan Motors, where he was known for his precision, integrity, and strong work ethic. He also proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Tom was known for his sharp wit, steady hands, and kind heart. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, working on cars and boats, and sharing a good laugh-often over his favorite condiment, mayonnaise. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose loyalty and love never wavered.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Ann Taylor; his four children, Tommy Taylor, Kimberly Aliotta and her husband Rocco, Mark Taylor and his wife Debbie, and Shawn Taylor; and his ten cherished grandchildren, Nicolette Taylor, Brooke Taylor, Michael Taylor, Natalia Aliotta, Carlo Aliotta, Angelo Aliotta, Carmine Aliotta, Alexis Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, and Matthew Taylor.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ from 2-6 PM. The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, Little Flower Church, Plainfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow in St. Teresa's Cemetery Mausoleum, Summit, NJ.
Tom's life was one of quiet strength, humor, and devotion-a legacy of faith and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
