Peter Nelson McEneaney, Jr., age 64, long time resident of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 27, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Patricia (nee Moran) and Peter Nelson McEneaney, Sr.
Pete was the beloved brother of Patsy Fratanduono (Rick), Phyllis Saraceni (Tony), Paula Udinski (John), Peggi Peters, Paul McEneaney (Patty), Pam Brubaker (Drew), Laura Dougherty (Dennis), and Lisa Winkleblech. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Pete was a sweet soul who never said a bad word about anyone. He was a wonderful companion to his mom for many years. Pete was a faithful prayer warrior who welcomed any request to storm heaven and made it his business to pray for everybody‘s everything.
Pete was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and could tell you the stats of each player and the score of every game.
Anyone who knew him will remember the twinkle in his eye and tell you the world’s a better place because Pete was in it.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and 8:30-10:00 AM on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter’s name to St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, would be appreciated.
