Peter Misko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Marshall Funeral Home and Cremations on Dec. 24, 2025.
"Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love." -Lamentations 3:32

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we mourn the passing of Peter Anthony Misko, who passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rocco Misko Sr. and Velma Dujmov Misko, his brother, Joseph Rocco Misko Jr., and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Misko.

Pete was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, Mississippi, and attended Biloxi High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and later the Army National Guard. He spent more than 30 years working as a Master Plumber with A. H. Lank Patterson Plumbing, where he was known for his skill, work ethic, and
dedication.
Pete leaves behind the wife he adored: Terri Lisa Misko; five children: Deanna Misko, Lawrence (Holly) Misko, Paul Misko, Brandi (Brian) Dozier and Lauren Misko; four siblings: Jerry Wayne Misko, Marie Johnson, Loraine (Tom) Joseph and Keith Misko; five grandchildren, Colin Misko, Austin Misko, Colton Misko, Ethan Powell and Delony Misko; and one great-grandchild, Alina Misko; and countless nieces and nephews.

He was a parishioner of Saint Michael's Catholic Church, a member of the Slavonian Lodge and the Knights of Columbus, and a die-hard fan of LSU and Biloxi High School athletics. Pete generously gave his time coaching basketball, football, and baseball, becoming a mentor to countless young athletes and leaving an undeniable and lasting mark on their lives.

While Pete achieved many things throughout his life, the one that mattered most was his selfless devotion- the love he gave, the sacrifices he made, and the unwavering dedication he showed to his family.

The Misko Family would like to thank SAAD Health Care; particularly Jenna Juanico and Gloria Kostmayer for their unwavering devotion, care and patience.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Biloxi. Following Mass, a Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Michael's Family Life Center.
