Michael Jeffrey Misko

Michael Jeffrey "Jeff" Misko, a devoted family man, proud Tuscaloosa native, and lifelong friend to many, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born and raised in the communities of Tuscaloosa and Northport, AL, Jeff was the beloved son of the late Daniel J. and Maryann K. Misko. A student of Tuscaloosa City Schools, Jeff spent his career at B.F. Goodrich, where he worked until his retirement. He built a life rooted in love, perseverance, and simple joys.

Jeff was preceded in death by his loving wife, Denise Misko; his parents, Daniel and Maryann; his sister, Diane M. Vulevich; his brothers, William J. Misko and Daniel G. Misko; his sons, John Bigham and Michael Misko.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Danelle M. Misko; his children, Billy and Megan Misko; and his special granddaughter, Trez Bigham and many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

An avid golfer, fisherman, foodie and animal lover, Jeff found peace and joy in both the great outdoors and the comfort of his grill and kitchen. Whether casting a line at dawn, walking the fairway at dusk, or preparing a meal for those he loved, these quiet, intentional moments reflected his deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He was a man of few words but immense heart, whose laughter, kindness, and steady presence left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Jeff was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing, and may he rest in peace, reunited with those he loved and lost.
