PETER THOMAS PATRAS

Peter Thomas Patras, fell asleep in our Lord on October 30, 2022. Proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Many people knew him as Peter T. in the hairdressing world. Most people would of known Peter for his great communication, his cheerful smile, and the many years he served the NorthShore community as an owner of hair salons, and "Master Hair Designer" at Teddie Kossof Salon and Spa. Beloved husband of Theresa Planinc-Patras. Loving father of Jennifer (Matt) Kenah and Cassandra Patras and his dog, Rizzo, the late Boo-boo, and Joey. Proud Papou of Lucas, Gabriel, Margaritte, and Elizabeth and step-papou of Genevieve and Daniel. Dear brother of Emilie (Al) VandeWeerd and the late George (survived by Kathye) Patras, Jim (the late Becky) Patras, and Dean (survived by Shirley) Patras and brother-in-law of Darlene Zmolek, Linda Planinc, Jean (Duane) Stanford, Kathleen (the late Bryan) Dixon and the late Janet (survived by Conrad) Brown. Cherished son of the late Evangeline and Thomas Patras and son-in-law of Judith (the late Robert) Planinc. Dear uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to many who will miss him. Friends and family will meet for visitation on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10AM until the time of service at 11:00AM at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peter's name to Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
