Peter Pak Wong

Peter Pak Hung Wong passed away peacefully at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, on January 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 83. Born in Hong Kong on July 5, 1943, Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Judy, and his sons Patrick, Tommy, and Jacky, together with daughters-in-law Harina and Ashley. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Patrina, Preston, Jaden, and Amelia. Peter was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and steadfast friend to many. He took immense joy in time spent with his grandchildren and was always generous with his wisdom, advice, and unwavering support for anyone in need. A dedicated entrepreneur, Peter built and ran a successful logistics business for more than 50 years before retiring. His passions were many and vibrant: foremost among them was his enthusiasm for horse racing, cheering on his beloved New York Giants football team, following soccer, enjoying fishing outings, and pursuing carpentry projects. He delighted in simple pleasures-never refusing a classic Costco hot dog or a soothing cup of lemon tea-and cherished weekend fishing trips accompanied by the music of his favorite artists: Elvis Presley, the Bee Gees, Boney M, and Celine Dion. The family wishes to express profound gratitude to the compassionate staff at Baystate Medical Center for their exceptional care and kindness during his final days.
