Peter L. Workman

Peter L. Workman, 69, of Harleysville, died Monday, November 10, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Boyce) Workman for over 41 years.

Born October 8, 1956 (the only day a perfect game was ever pitched in the World Series, as he would often recall) in Kingston, PA, he was the son of the late Wendy (Kanjorski) Workman.

Mr. Workman graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University where he was a standout basketball player for the Battling Bishops, their starting point guard. He started a financial advisory firm, Financial Triumph Associates, named after his first car, a 1969 TR6 Triumph, which he kept and had planned to restore someday. He loved his country deeply, was a man of faith and a longtime parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Hatfield.

Pete enjoyed coaching his boys' teams in youth baseball and basketball for many years, as well as introducing them to movies. He loved his dogs Ollie, Inde, Maverick and now Riggo, especially at the mountains!

In addition to his wife, he is survived by the sons he was so proud of, Brooks A. Workman of Harleysville, and Mitchell M. Workman of Collegeville; two sisters, Deborah Coberly (Jerry) and Christina Mollinary; two nieces, Kristin and Wendy, and his godparents, uncle Paul Kanjorski and aunt Charie Aponick.

Relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.
