Petra Pinon

Petra Pinon, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, just two days shy of her 82nd birthday. Born in Durango, Mexico, on May 10, 1943, Petra lived a life rooted in faith, family, and enduring love.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Linda, Aurora, Leticia and her husband Marselino; her sons Fernando, Miguel and his wife Rhea, Alfonso and his wife Christina, and Armando and his wife Ana. She is also survived by her brothers Francisco and Juan, and sisters Maria Luz and Berta. Petra's memory lives on in the hearts of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Maximo, her first husband Jose, her grand-daughter Tequisha, her brothers Casimero, Luis, Ramon, and Jesus, and her sisters Guadalupe and Esperanza.
Petra's warmth and generosity were known by all who met her. She loved to cook, especially for her family, and had a special fondness for Italian food. A woman of deep faith, she found joy in attending church and spending time with loved ones. She enjoyed knitting, watching action movies, and playing Lotería with friends. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, creating memories full of laughter and love.
Petra's strength, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
