Floyd Dyton Martin, Sr. was born March 24th, 1942 in Oklahoma City, in the Community Camp, to Bob and Lola Martin. They lived in OKC, and South Texas for a while, where his dad was a supervisor on the King Ranch, and then moved back to OKC to the Mulligan Flats neighborhood, where he would meet Georgie Hall, the love of his life.

He graduated from Central High School and he and Georgie were married and had four kids.

He was a master machinist for 60 years. He retired from Seagate, twice, once with 17 years, ten years in between and then went back to Seagate for another ten years. After the death of daughter, Becky, and her husband, Ron, He and Georgie raised their kids, RJ and Journey, and he went back to work again at Danaluk for 12 years.

When Georgie passed in 2021, He moved to his Ft Cobb lake home he had built in 1992 with son, Floyd, Jr. and grandson, RJ

He was good at many things. He could fix or build anything. He was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ask for, and he would like you to know that he was an awesome river bottom noodler that caught many huge catfish with his bare hands.

He was proceeded in death by his parents. Wife, Georgie. Daughter, Becky and son-in-law, Ron English; his sister, Iretha Finley, and brothers, Carl and Bobby Martin.

He is survived by his children, Angela McIntosh and Gary Cook of OKC; Floyd Martin, Jr., of the home, and Lori and Shannon Watford, of Tuttle. He was so proud of his grandkids, Ricky and wife, Tiffany McIntosh, and Kannon and Hank; Savannah and husband Dan Hague and Fisher; Josh and Kallie McIntosh; Austin and wife, Maureen Watford, Edith and Sebastian; Colin Watford and wife Miranda, Joseph and Maggie; Ron Engliish. Jr. "RJ", and Journey and Bryce Berry, Joey and Michael. He is also survived by sister, Helen Lovett, and brother, Marvin Martin, both of Tulsa, Sister-in-laws, Norma Martin and Willie Mitchell, and brother-in-laws, Clarence and Catherine Hall, and Ross Hall. Many adoring nieces and nephews and cousins survive as well.
