He was married to Thun Ou whom was his lifelong love. Born in the Samraong District of Takeo Province, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Long Preap and Yun Saw.
He moved to the Bronx, NY with his family in 1982 from Cambodia and later settled his family in Lowell, MA in 1988. He retired from BNZ Materials in Billerica after 20+ years of employment. Phan was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching all the New England sports teams along with the New York Giants. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.
He is survived by his three sons; Sakeo Long of Lowell, Sothey Long of Lowell, and Ethan Long of Lowell, his daughter Soscia Long of Lowell, his two grandchildren Tristan Long and Micah Long, and many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Phan Long, Lowell, MA died January 8, 2024. Visiting hours Friday, January 12, 2024 Starting at 2:00 p.m. at Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram, 85 Tyngsboro Road, N. Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Saturday, January 13, 2024 7:30 a.m. at Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram followed by a burial in Edson Cemetery, Lowell, MA. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
