Merced, California - Phanida Keopke – 74 of Merced, CA passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours on Sunday, September 17th at home.
Phanida was born in Udorn, Thailand to mother Prapaisri Sintipla & father Pradang Chestadiloke. She resided in & spent her formative years in Thailand, moving to the United States in the 70's.
She and her husband Danny have lived in the Merced area for 5 years. They just moved back to the area, after a few short years living in Utah. She loved Utah Jazz, and truly enjoyed cooking. And she was an avid sports fan; she loved tennis and basketball.
Phanida was survived by her husband of 35 years, Danny L. Keopke & daughter Diana Maes both of Merced, CA and son Terry Feye of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and 8 grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Phanida was truly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Phanida is my mom and she is the reason I am the woman I am today. She had such a beautiful soul and a big kind giving heart. She truly loved and cared about everyone. The world will be a different place without her beauty and love gracing it. I love you soooo much mom! I can´t wait to see you again someday, this is not goodbye. It´s see you later! Rest easy mom and fly high with the angels! You have your wings now!
