In Loving Memory of Pheonix Bolden

It is with deep sorrow and overflowing love that we announce the passing of our Babyboy, brother, grandson, and friend, Pheonix Bolden, who entered eternal rest on July 27, 2025 at the age of 6.
Born on June 27, 2019 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, Pheonix came into this world with only half a heart-but he loved with all of it. From the very beginning, he was a fighter, a miracle, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His strength in the face of constant medical challenges was nothing short of heroic.
Pheonix spent half of his life in hospitals, where doctors, nurses, and caregivers became an extended family, providing tireless care and compassion. Despite the pain he endured daily, he never found it in himself to complain about his struggles. He found joy in life's simplest pleasures-hugging his loved ones, riding his balance bike, fishing with his dad and brothers, singing his favorite songs, protecting his big sister, and flashing the kind of smile that could light up a room.
He was known for his beautiful eyes and eyelashes that seemed to go on forever, his quiet strength, his mischievous spirit, and his deep love for his family. Pheonix lived fully, loved deeply, and taught all of us more in his short years than many do in a lifetime.
He is now healed and whole, cradled in the arms of our universe, surrounded by a love far greater than this world can give. While our hearts ache with the weight of losing him, we take comfort knowing he is free of pain and embraced by eternal peace.
Pheonix is survived by his devoted parents; Taylor Bolden and, Carl Rackel; siblings, Emmarie Calder, Tristyn and Cayden Rackel; grandparents, Tiffanie and Wes Camp, Connie and Claude Jones and Kimberly Bolden; aunts, Chelci Alvarez and, Amanda Edmondson; uncles, Aric Alvarez, Deshae Bolden and, Cody McBride; a loving extended family, and a community that will forever cherish his memory.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held to honor our sweet boy August 9, 2025 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Turrentine Jackson Morrow, 201 W Maple St, Whitewright, Texas 75491.
