Phil Hedges Obituary
He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a member of Augusta VFW Post 9535, American Legion Post 106, and Disabled American Veterans Post 19; and was a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his children, Dawn (Kenny) Benosky of Greenwood, IN, Brian Hedges, Daryll Hedges, both of Berea, KY, and Cynthia (Jack) Gross of New Tazewell, TN; his 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Fredrickson Hedges, and his sister, Nancy Bailey.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, KY. Burial wil be at Powersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Augusta VFW Post 9535, Falmouth American Legion Post 109, or Disabled American Veterans Post 19.
