Phil Mitchell Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 23, 2025.
Philip Charles Mitchell was born on May 16, 1963 and passed away on June 20, 2025.
Phil was a man of many things - he loved to talk to people, he was the neighborhood chatterbox everywhere he lived. Making people smile and laugh was his natural ability and boy did he shine. He loved all things golf - hitting balls, playing a round, talking about it and loved working at the golf shop in LHC. He cared about everyone he met and left a lasting impression on just about everyone. He was goofy and fun - the light of the party! He loved his family and dogs more than anything. He loved the beach, the airport, the lake and most importantly the race track - especially Santa Anita, it held a special place in his heart. He is preceded in life by his father Robert and his four dogs - Mindy, Leo, Marge and Dennis. He leaves behind his mother Rosellen, his daughter Bree, son-in-law Greg and grandson Aidan.
Phil will be missed by all that knew him, may he rest peacefully.
His daughter Bree would love to hear about any stories, memories, photos or just anything you would like to share with her and is asking that you write a letter/note so they may be cherished and saved with her forever. Please reach out to her at (714) 770-1435 so she may provide her mailing address to you.
** Additionally, you may leave a post on this page, however, a written, hard copy is preferred and more sentimental. Thank you.
In memory of Phil, and in honor of his mother Rosellen, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America - PO Box 600 - Doylestown, PA 18901 USA.

Phil was always the cool guy when I was growing up on Pamela Rd. He was a few years older and he always made us laugh. I remember him working for a limousine company and every Saturday he would prep the car by taking it to Fasching“s car wash and then load it up at the liquor store with ice and drinks. He would always ask me if I wanted to go, and of course I never missed a chance to ride in a limo as a kid. He would pretend to be my chauffeur and I would pretend to be the rich kid in the back, like Silver Spoons. Then he would roll down tbe window at the stop lights and the "regular people" would all try to see who was inside. It was a great time and I will remember his kindness forever. Rest in peace brother.
