Philip Macomber Allor, a resident of Royal Oak, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 30, 1950, in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of Allen and Marion Allor. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Allor. Loving father of Jennifer (Jeffrey) Frentz. Travis (Jaclyn), and the late Dustin. Cherished Papa of Jack, Grace, and Avery Frentz, and Elicia, Emiliano, Enrique, and Ezekiel Allor. Dear brother of Annette (Charles) Martin.
Philip was a graduate of Dondero High School and built a successful career in dental sales, working with companies such as Septodont, Cetylite, and Meer. He loved his profession and the connections he made along the way.
Philip had a passion for golf and also enjoyed playing euchre and spending time with his grandchildren. His fondness for family extended to their pets as well.
Known for his outgoing nature and unique sense of humor, Philip had a gift for conversation and people skills. He could strike up a discussion with anyone. His warmth, humor, and love for great conversations will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, April 1, from 9:00 am until time of military honors and family eulogies at 11:45 am at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blks. E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067. Inurnment will take place privately at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
