Philip Cialone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on Sep. 22, 2022.
Philip Rocco Cialone, 82, passed away on September 16, 2022, at Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation in Palm City, FL, surrounded by his loving family.
Phil was born in Patterson, New Jersey, son of the late Carmine Paul and Antoinette (Madonna) Cialone. He graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ with degrees in education and horticulture. Phil enjoyed a successful career in the nursery and foliage industry. An unstoppable innovator, he worked to continually improve the family business and to raise the visibility of the industry at large. His career included establishing a thriving wholesale foliage business along with brothers Joe and Paul; and undertaking challenging plantscaping projects for The National Zoo in Washington DC., the Mall of America in Bloomington MN, and the Opryland Hotel in Nashville TN, one of his favorites.
Phil is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy (Roff) Cialone of Palm City, FL; daughter Patty Brookshire (Jonathan) of Port St. Lucie FL; son John Cialone (David Seleb) of Lake Forest, IL; brother Joe Cialone Sr. (Lenore) of Boynton Beach, FL; brother Paul Cialone (Barbara) of Danbury, CT; and granddaughters Christine and Stephanie Brookshire. Devoted and generous to family and friends, Phil was also community minded. His passion for sports, especially golf, led him to become a leader at Celebrities for Kids, a local charitable organization. Sporting his sparkling reassuring smile, Phil gave freely of his strength, time, and understanding to those in need, be it a charity or an individual. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to Hospice Foundation of America or to the charity of your choice.
