Philip J. Feig, March 25, 2025, of Washington Crossing, PA; beloved husband of Sharon; loving father of Jessica Opet (Patrick); devoted brother of Bruce Feig (Caryn); cherished grandfather of Blaire Opet.

Born in New York in 1948, the son of Eve and Sidney Feig. Phil graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School, City College of New York for his undergraduate degree, and City College of New York, St John’s University, and Pace University for his advanced degrees (MSc EE, JD). He married his beloved wife, Sharon, in 1970. They spent time living and raising their family in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Phil had an illustrious career including positions at Branson Smith Kline, IBM, Telecordia Research, and General Counsel NEC Research. He was extremely proud of the teams of inventors he worked with and on the many significant patents that underpin modern technology.

Phil was always an active member of the communities where he lived; he was appointed to the Van Cortland Cooperative Federal Credit Union (FCU) and numerous township boards, including Pound Ridge Zoning Board, New Canaan Zoning Board, Princeton Environmental Commission and Planning Board, and the Upper Makefield Planning Commission.

His larger than life personality made an impact on all, but his greatest joy was his family. He loved a spirited debate, a great meal at Chef Vola, vacations in St. Thomas, and most especially having tea parties with his granddaughter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to services Sunday, March 30, 2025, 11:00AM, at Laurel Hill West Cemetery (Funeral Home Chapel), Bala Cynwyd, PA. Interment will follow on the cemetery grounds. Following the burial family and friends are invited to a luncheon from 1:00-2:30PM, at the Conservatory also on the cemetery grounds. Shiva will be observed at the Opet residence on Monday between 4PM-7PM.  Please contact Jessica if you need further information.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Philip’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org/).
