Philip "Rex" Kleitz, a beloved scholar, teacher, and rancher, passed away on April 15, 2024, in Truth or Consequences, NM, at the age of 91. Born on July 29, 1932, in Braymer, Missouri, Rex was known for his wit, wisdom, and dedication to his work.
Rex was a man of many talents and passions. He had a great sense of humor and was always eager to share his knowledge and ideas with others. An avid attendee of auctions, Rex found joy in the thrill of the hunt and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts.
He is survived by his son, Ray Sheldon Kleitz (Jennifer); and sister, Karen Watts (nee Kleitz). Rex was preceded in death by his father, Beryl Kleitz; mother, Velma Kleitz; and his son, Val Kleitz.
A private service to honor and remember Rex was held on April 20, 2024. The ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable man who touched the lives of many with his wisdom and humor. Send flowers to the service of Philip Rex Kleitz
