Philip Palmatier, age 65, passed away on September 2, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Phil was born to James and Alicia Palmatier on June 17, 1960.

Phil was a lifelong resident of Wisconsin. He attended Nicolet High School and UWM. He worked numerous jobs including Microfilm Reproduction Center, Spic and Span, Tews Cement, Hallquist Stone, and Clement Manor. In both his professional and personal life, Phil was genuine, big-hearted, and fabulously quick-witted. Phil and his life-partner, Vicki, enjoyed traveling and watching the Wisconsin sports scene—especially the Green Bay Packers, as a season ticket holders. Phil loved mornings, Rhythm and Blues, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Phil is survived by his life partner, Vicki; sister, Janet (Bill); brothers: Mark, Chris, and Tim (Rachel); and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Alicia Palmatier, and his sister-in-law Adair Palmatier.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the kind and compassionate care given by the staff and providers at Froedtert Hospital.

A celebration of Phil’s life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Wisconsin Humane Society or a charity of choice.
