Philip Stokoe

Philip Thomas Stokoe, 90, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away on May 7, 2025. Phil was born on February 27, 1935, in Chippenham, UK, and embodied the spirit of a true gentleman. Thoughtful in his actions and spirited in his pursuits, Phil was a beloved figure who left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Phil was a veteran, having served in the Royal Air Force, and was a Freemason. His commitment to his community was unwavering and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Phil was raised in England before moving to the United States. He attended school in England and received an Engineering Degree. Despite his many achievements, Phil remained humble and grounded.
Phil was a man of many talents. Professionally, he was a respected engineer in product development and was employed at Amphenol. Despite his professional achievements, it was his personal life that truly defined him. In his spare time, he loved watching the Red Sox and soccer, wood crafting, spending time outside, traveling and designing.
A devoted husband, Phil is survived by his loving wife, Linda Stokoe. He was also a proud father of two daughters, Lindsay Villnave and Carrie Pemberton and two sons, Martin Stokoe and Mark Stokoe. Phil was the devoted grandfather of Rocco Villnave, Luca Villnave, Stella Villnave, Casey Carley, Sam Stokoe, Allison Stokoe, Andrew Stokoe and Amanda Knight.
He was predeceased by his parents, Horace and Gladys Maria (Gilbert) Stokoe, his brother, Robin Stokoe and his sister Eileen Parsons.
Private services are under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.
