Strbik, Philip Theodore "Ted" - Age 87, of Flint Township, died June 10, 2024. Funeral mass will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 27,  at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Committal service will be held 1 PM Thursday, June 27 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Humane Society of Genesee County.  Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. 
He was born March 8, 1937 in Flint, the son of Joseph John Strbik and Ella Marie (Skamelka) Strbik. He was a veteran of The United States Army. He married Judy Thorne on June 18, 1960. Ted worked for General Motors for 10 years. He was a college professor at Mott Community College. He also did taxes for seniors. Ted was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He loved to sail and loved his dogs. He loved cars, especially corvettes. Ted also loved to cook and bake. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy; 3 daughters, Suzann (George) Bertels of Lake Orion, Christine (Tom) Marion of Oxford, and Lisa Strbik of Alpena; grandchildren, Andrew and Megan Bertels, Hunter and Nicole Marion; siblings, Joseph John (Judi) Strbik Jr. of Traverse City, Barbara (Bernie) Romaine of Grand Blanc; several nieces and nephews. Philip was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jean Bernier. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
