Scott was a graduate of Vo-Tech, York, PA with a major in carpentry. He worked at numerous places using his mechanical and carpentry skills such as, Crowell Industries, Bed Bath & Kitchen and Rogers Corporation. He also was a caretaker for his step-father William Emory while between jobs.
Scott was an avid fisherman, with bass fishing being his pride and joy. He also enjoyed playing guitar to his favorite music. What brought him most joy was the outdoor activities spent with his brother Brad.
Scott was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Erin and his loving mother, Donna Emory. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Middletown, DE); brother, Brad Ventura (York, PA); his father, Philip R. Ventura (Las Vegas, NV) and all of his loving extended family.
A graveside service for Scott will be held March 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720.
