Philip John Zmijewski, age 67, of Erie, PA., passed away at his home on July 16, 2024 of natural causes. He was born on August 15, 1956, a son of Barbara Quirk Zmijewski and the late Thaddeus W. Zmijewski.
Philip graduated from Harbor Creek High School class of 1974. After high school, he worked briefly at General Electric prior to joining the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Japan. He was honorably discharged in 1986. After the service he returned to Erie, and worked at Erie Malleable Iron and several other shops in Erie.

Philip is preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus W. Zmijewski and his brother Thaddeus "Willy" Zmijewski, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Zmijewski, sister Ellen Benczkowski (Dave) and several nieces and nephews, along with many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his very good friend, Michael Conner, and his beloved dog and constant companion, Clancy.
The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the private arrangements. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.

Phil my Friend. I remember you so well. You stayed at my place with your rabbit and helped me raise 2 3 week old kittens-they lived to be 16 years old. I have pictures of you holding them. Rest easy now. Much sympathy to the Family, you had a great guy.
